Robert Heinlein says, “being a mother is an attitude, not a biological relation.”  If that’s true, does this mean we’re all mothers?  For some, Mother’s Day is a day of joy.  For others, it is a time of pain and complexity.  How do we reconcile the multitude of feelings many of us experience on Mother’s Day?
