Mother’s Day came out of a proclamation, by women, against war. Families lost fathers, sons, husbands.  The women raged against political leaders, who declared war and sent others into battle. This is a service of hope: what the love of family can do and what we can do to be a source of healing in the world.  It is about mothers and all who care for the many kinds of families in our country.
