Online Worship: Day of Remembrance

Sunday, November 1, 10:30am, Join us via this link.

Rev. Beth Banks; Emily Burstein, Worship Associate

We’ll honor significant people in our lives who have died. You’re invited to have a photo or memento where we can see it on Zoom. What are some of the most common ways Unitarian Universalists understand death?  How can our understanding bring us healing?

We’ll use Mentimeter––an interactive tool––to create a word cloud together, in the moment.  You can use the Mentimeter app and we’ll provide a link to make participation easy for everyone.

Beliefs Held in Common Among Us: UUs and Death

Rev. Beth Banks, Emily Burstein, Cliff Ohmart

Everyone is invited to join the Going Deeper sessions that follow select services. These sessions are lightly facilitated and either offer a time for response or give more depth to the topic.

We’ll begin with some readings about life and death from a UU perspective. Whom, among your friends and family, would you like to remember in this session? If we use small groups, they’ll have a facilitator with experience leading UUCD’s Deep Listening Circles.
