On what has been known as Columbus Day weekend, we’ll be working from a preview of Not a Nation of Immigrants by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz (to be published in June, 2021). Ortiz is known for her research about the history of Indigenous People across the North American continent. Her previous book, An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States was the 2019 UUA Common Read.
