Kay’s visit is part of our development of a ministry of stewardship and institutionalizing a ministry of generosity. These concepts are much broader than our annual giving drive and touch upon all areas of our life – our happiness and health, our social roles and relational ties, our sense of abundance and blessing, and more. Building a generous culture with each other can help us thrive at the personal, congregational and societal levels. In the words of Rev. Thomas Disrud, “Generosity is making love manifest in the world.”

Kay will meet with our Board and Staff on Friday evening, and our members and friends on Saturday to hear about our culture, concerns, and our hopes and priorities for moving forward. A core focus of the visit will be on identifying recommended next steps to help us fund our goals through a successful Annual Giving Drive in the coming year.

On Sunday after the service, Kay will present her initial observations and recommendations to our entire congregation. A detailed written report delivered within two weeks of the visit will contain congregational survey results, data analysis, and recommendations customized for us.

Snacks and childcare will be provided during Kay’s presentation after the Sunday service, September 30.

Please make room in your schedule to participate so that we will get the most out of this endeavor. Thank you!
