We Invite You to Celebrate at UUCD!  

We respect the worth and dignity of every person, and that applies equally to people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. UU congregations and clergy have long recognized and celebrated same-sex marriages within our faith tradition.

Indoor Weddings, Main Building

• Sanctuary: Up to 160 guests, audience seating
• Social Hall: Banquet seating for 88 guests, space for a portable dance floor; kitchen access
• Patios: Outdoor space for more tables, dancing

Outdoor Weddings (with access to indoor restrooms)

• Hedges Grove, a green lawn with space for rows of chairs, banquet tables, a portable dance floor
• Redwood Grove, Labyrinth, Patios: spaces for more intimate ceremonies

Grounds: Whether a wedding is indoors our out, there are plenty of scenic places for photographs.

Wedding Planning

• Minister helps plan ceremony (counseling sessions & rehearsal) 
• Audio-Visual support (microphones, slide shows, etc.)
• Event Assistant to move furniture and/or wash dishes
• May request a video recording of the service*
• Pianist, if requested and if available

Member Weddings

• Though donations are welcome, Weddings for Members are part of being a Member at UUCD. 

Fees for Non-Members are listed on our Fees page.**

• Renter may choose to self-officiate a wedding.
  If bringing in outside clergy, please contact the office as a professional courtesy.  

* You may request a recording of the ceremony ahead of time.  If you do, please bring a flash drive (500 GB memory or higher) for the recording.

**Members cannot sponsor weddings.
