Rev. Casey Dunsworth
In the Christian tradition, one of the most-quoted passages of scripture is Jesus’ command to “love your neighbor as yourself.” Taking a look around at our present world, it can be difficult to ascertain just how and by whom this command is being interpreted. As we cultivate relationships with ourselves and with our neighbors, whose examples do we look to? Where do we begin? How do we continue? We will need to reimagine relationship in our not-quite-post-pandemic reality and beyond.
The Rev. Casey Kloehn Dunsworth is ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Born and raised in Encinitas, CA, she graduated from California Lutheran University in 2010 and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in 2014. You are likely to find her buying strawberries at the Davis Farmers’ Market, playing co-ed lower league Tuesday night softball, lingering at the Avid Reader, tasting wine on the Silverado Trail, or solving a crossword puzzle with her husband, Jonathan. She is an Enneagram 6, a Myers-Briggs ESFJ, and a faithful San Diego Padres fan.

Memorial Grove Service
Rev. Morgan McLean and Rev. Beth Banks
This annual service honors those in our congregation who have died in the past year.
We dedicate their names in our Memorial Grove and celebrate the ways they were connected to our community. We will gather on the Patio for this service.
