October 24 is United Nations Day, and we take time to acknowledge the UN’s efforts to fight global heating and champion sustainable development. We learn about Sacramento-based Solar Cookers International, whose work around the globe promotes all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. We underline our solidarity with movements and institutions that strive for “the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all.”
