Each month, a different nonprofit organization (whose work furthers our UU principles and the mission of our church) receives half of non-pledge contributions to the Sunday offering. When safe, each nonprofit recipient may table in the Social Hall during the month that it shares the offering in order to publicize its work or seek volunteers. *

Our Shared Offering selections will be inspired by the following principles: Have a local connection. Have an advocate from within our congregation and a representative from the receiving organization. Reflect radical generosity, comprise a diversity of causes, and strengthen community. Save lives, change lives, and improve our world. Priorities: new recipients, local, social justice, children/our future. Organizations chosen in the past are less likely to be chosen. Nominations are reviewed and recipients chosen by a Board subcommittee. In case of a special circumstance, upcoming selections may be revised. *
