RE Programming Returns September 20

Our new year of Children & Youth Religious Exploration begins Sunday, September 20, one week after our all-ages Water Communion Service and Community Carnival.

Here’s what to expect:

• TK–2nd grade: Explorers Group, led by Grace Range
• 3rd–5th grade: Chalice Council Group, led by Mollie Napier
• 6th grade and up: Youth Group, led by Sophia Belvoir

This year, we’ll be using the Soul Matters curriculum, which explores monthly themes that connect with the themes being explored by the congregation as a whole. It’s a great way for children and youth to have their own age-appropriate experiences while still being part of our shared congregational journey.

Childcare is available each Sunday for children under age 5 in the Bridgehouse Nursery from 10:45–11:45 AM. At 11:45 AM, all children and youth are walked back together to the Social Hall to rejoin their families.

Your child’s safety matters to us. All UUCD childcare and teaching staff are background checked and fingerprinted and are mandated reporters. Our programs follow UUCD’s established practices for protecting children and youth. Read our Safety of Minors Policy.
