Resiliency and Transformation Stewardship Event

Join Us Saturday, March 13, 1-2:30pm, on the UUCD Campus

In a COVID-safe ritual, individuals and family units are invited to honor our losses, bless and be blessed, and receive a small memento, symbolizing hope for the future.

  • At the first station, light the Tree of Life chalice while surrounded by the beauty of the grounds. We’ll use the photos in our church services for this upcoming season (and maybe you’d like a copy, too).
  • The second station will be an art installation. Everyone will be invited to help decorate one of the trees on our church grounds. Your contribution to the art will become a part of the worship service on Sunday and will remain as the tree’s leaves continue to unfurl.
  • The third station is a ritual, marking March 14, 2020. The second weekend in March was when we received the order to shelter-in-place.

Additionally, if you attend the virtual Thursday evening March 18 service, Our Year Together, Apart, you can use this memento at the service.

If you’re not able to attend the Resiliency and Transformation Stewardship Event, and would like to receive the small gift, please contact Sharon Hale by March 10. We’ll have some alternative ways to make it available.
