Explore the intersection of environmental and social justice work via Justice on Earth, the 2018 UUA “common read.”  Over three sessions, we’ll examine essays by UU thinkers who feel that our Second and Seventh Principles intertwine and consider how UU congregations can combine them.

Nov 1: The history of environmental appreciation and advocacy (UU and broader) that paid little attention to social justice (and why that’s problematic).

Nov 8: UU faith traditions require an intersectional—pro-environment and pro-people—practice.

Nov 15: Examples of successful UU environmental justice projects + ideas for moving forward at UUCD.
