Rev. Beth Banks
The Jewish High Holy Days begin with Rosh Hashanah, September 18-20. The holiday is the start of the Jewish New Year and people begin by wishing each other a sweet year to come.
It is also a holiday of renewal, new beginnings, and cherishing relationships. In the ten days that follow Rosh Hashanah, Jews consider how to become the best version of themselves. In this service, we’ll honor the themes of Rosh Hashanah. We often refer to ourselves liberal, but we’re being challenged to be a liberating faith. What does that mean and can we do it?

Save the Date: September 20, 1:00 PM
Planning has begun for an Interfaith gathering honoring themes from the Jewish High Holy Days. Watch our bulletin for more information.  Rev. Beth Banks, Len Hayward, and Barbara Clutter are attending planning sessions.
